REAL ESTATE
The four broad areas of real property and land use law in which the firm has experience are as follows:
- sales and acquisitions of real estate, including preparing and negotiating contracts, options, exchanges, condemnations, easements, covenants and restrictions, title issues, insurance and coverage issues,
environmental issues, contingencies and financing matters;
- leasing, including the negotiation and drafting of leases, subleases, assignments, etc.
- zoning and land use, particularly regarding disputes as to variances, site plan approvals, nonconforming uses, and other miscellaneous permitting issues; and
- litigation, including contract, lease and deed disputes, construction disputes, property damage insurance matters, rent and possession actions, zoning appeals, trespass and nuisance claims and environmental
claims.
The firm provides its real estate and land use services to a wide variety of clients, including individual property owners, developers and investors,
lenders and borrowers, and landlords and tenants.
